






Bolivia: Titicaca, Mountains and Amazon
Trek through the Andes and Bike down to the Amazon. All-in-One adventure!
This two-week trek along Lake Titicaca and through the beautiful Royal Mountain range will culminate with the 3500 m mountain bike descent to Coroico (1760 m).
Your journey begins with a 3-day hike along the side of Lake Titicaca. You will visit the Island of the Sun, a place of serene beauty, site of the Inca Creation Legend offering spectacular views of the Royal Mountain Range. Then you will trek for 7 days from Sorata around the imposing Illampu massif. You will walk along Inca trails through high valleys, climb passes up to 5000 meters, and come across tiny mountain villages. Your efforts will be rewarded by the sight of llamas, incomparable views of turquoise lakes, and of the breath-taking Lake Titicaca.
Finally, you will mountain bike down a 3500 m descent from La Cumbre to Coroico (1760 m), a beautiful village in the Amazon jungle.

Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up at airport and transfer to hotel. City tour in the afternoon. Hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Titicaca. Trekking on Chisi trail. Camping.
Day 3: Trekking on Chisi trail and transfer to Island of the Sun by private boat. Visit local ruins. Hotel.
Day 4: Trekking across the Island of the sun. Hotel.
Day 5: Transfer to Sorata by private transport. Hotel.
Days 6 to 11: Trekking in the Royal Mountain Range. Camping.
Day 12: Arrival in Millipaya. Transfer to La Paz. Hotel .
Day 13: Mountain bike descent to Coroico. Hotel.
Day 14: Free time to visit Coroico. Return to La Paz. Hotel.
Day 15: Free time in La Paz. Hotel.
Day 16: Departure. Transfer to airport.
Level of Difficulty
Accessible to excellent trekkers, this 7-day trek In the Royal Mountain Range has three passes over 4,000 m and one over 5,000 m. You will be going over more or less one pass per day and walking between 5 to 7 hours per day. Very good physical condition and health are required due to high altitude. Lodging: Hotel 2–3* and camping. Gear will be transported by jeep, mules, and porters.
Those who travel with us are active people who practice physical activity at different levels. Motivation, mind set, attitude, and good physical condition will make a difference.
Equipment Required
Upon registration, you will receive a detailed itinerary, practical information for health, altitude, and a list of clothing and equipment. Group equipment such as tents and cooking material will be supplied by Clermont Expeditions.
For your own security, individual insurance is obligatory.

Land costs will include:

Payment and Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit of US$500 per person is required at the time of booking. Full payment is required not later than 60 days prior to the first day of the trip. Should you need to cancel your trip, a full reimbursement, less the US$500 deposit, would be possible up to 60 days before the first day of the trip. A 50% reimbursement, less the US$500 deposit, would be possible if cancellation occurs up to 30 days before the first day of the trip.
